Another HoneyFIED Evidence

Tsktsk... okay, I'm posting this because I'm pretty confident the content of this screenshot will not be understood by too many. Praise God Almighty it was written in our native dialect!

So, in Facebook, one my of my highschool friends recalled one particular event that I was never really proud of and posted comments below our photo. To share:

I'm rendering the gist of these comment thread however where Joy was just saying one particular thing that Rendel was head over heels crazy in love with me since our highschool. That's all. Ahaha!

My boring weekend =(

No weekend date via Skype =(reasons? Enough and acceptable reasons that are reasons enough, hehe, in fairness!. On Saturday (yesterday), it was my sort of monthly disease combined with Sun IDD electronic load failure, the Sun IDD lately only works if you buy the prepaid IDD card. On Sunday (which is actually today), I got a terrible toothache so Honey eventually just let me be and gave me time to dose off, but this was just timely as Honey is all sore from football and household cleaning. No date but we were able to text-chat thru Yahoo.

Here comes tonight and I feel that my weekend went so dull. So dull, silent, and so bloody boring.

This afternoon after taking a nap I played a little plants vs. zombies and finally got my gold sunflower trophy! I saw my ongoing crochet project and put my hands into work for like an hour. Did some press and fold chore and then into blogging.

Still, a boring weekend =(

My number 1

My number 1 not just in my heart, but also in my phonebook. Haha! I know you should be thinking, how corny could I get???

Number 2&3 is my one and only legal sibling
Number 4 is my one and only legal mom
Number 5 is my one and only bestfriend whom I don't talk to often =)

Current ringtone: Honey Honey by ABBA (replaced Honey's hearty laugh)
I should be posting Honey's hearty laugh just that I still have to figure out how to convert the audio file. Soon soon.

Doodling his name in a brown folder =)

The comment was from our highschool valedictorian, real name is Dunhill Bilog. I remember he was one of my highschool high springboard.

Tong-its!

Tongits is a popular Filipino rummy card game. Originating in the northern Philippines, the game was brought to the United States in the mid-90's and was quickly adopted on college campuses. It offered a new alternative to long time favorites pusoy dos and spades.

Anyone familiar with other rummy games such as Gin Rummy or Mah Jhong can easily learn to play Tongits. It is a fun, fast moving game. It encourages players to work together but in the end it's winner takes all.

At Honey's house in the old town or city of Panabo, people are always busy with Tong-its. Almost everybody knows the game, from kids to oldies. Nanay Minyang (Honey's Grandmom) is the known Tong-its leader, it is her past time and she likes it very very much. In fact, she keeps a stack of cards in her room and gave me one to play with... ahmmm technically she did not give it to me but she just lent it to me and Honey so we could have something to play with during our spare time, and I just forgot to give it back so I claimed the cards are mine now. Haha, the reason why maybe Nanay Minyang cried when I last saw her last week haha!

So Tong-its... We played a lot of Tong-its this year. Me and Honey took turns in winning this game but lately, Honey oftentimes surfaced as the winner... but that doesn't mean he is that good, he was just lucky at times ;)

Fan's Day Picture Taking Session Part 2

Let me eat durian!

Eeewwwww! I could never forget Honey's disgust when he smelled durian some hundred days ago. The look on his face? Gosh it was priceless. He even shooed me out of the room because I was eating the heavenly durian, the ignorance I could very well relate to my Philo 101 lesson The Allegory of the Cave ;)

This year though, a few days before he was to go back to the States, he opened his eyes to the truth and tried durian the native variety. A day after, he was looking for it already, and from then on, there was never a day without the durian. He likes it at night, and I wonder why... It is the Puyat variety that suits his taste buds, and I admit, I think I'm liking the Puyat now and i'm actually craving for one big durian fruit the Puyat variety! I'm getting myself one later.

This post has to go because Honey just told me this morning he craves for Puyat as well. The below commemorative photos are my beloved... ;0

Durian! Durian! Durian! I wish I could bring him some...
