I want to establish something important...

I realized I’m already sharing bits and pieces of the HoneyFIED history without establishing yet how it came to be? How did Rendel notice me too?


From our previous conversations, Honey told me he noticed me during the early weeks when classes started during our 2nd year. He was a transferee from another school like me and he enrolled late. In here, classes starts June. He told me he noticed me because his cousin Angela pointed him at my direction (a very safe explanation), but I believed him. To me, a circumstance like this is considered normal occurrence, nothing really special, so that’s why I didn’t notice him earlier on. When I noticed him 4 months later on October, I tried hard to be passive kay kaulaw man sad, maulaw man sad ta… I didn’t have an idea that he already recognized me. This knowledge came to me only last year which I only uncovered from one of our little talks.

So that’s it. That’s how it came to be. Now I’m cleared. Haha! ;)

A Piece of Evidence from Rendel Himself

The cover was "From My Heart, Especially For You" - a Musicard of the song "Each Day With You", dated February 14, 1998 (I would be submitting this card for valuation to Mana Davao and see what this card is worth at present ;)).

On that night, my high school high went to our old house in the province. That was 8 or 9 in the evening and we were outside in the garden, me, my mom and my aunt when my fan arrived. My fan didn't come all by himself, he was with his twin and shadow during his early years - his cousin Angela. To give due justice to Honey, he may have brought his cousin there because Angela knew where our house was. Angela was a close friend of my bestfriend's sister, and we went to the same school so that may explain why it was easy to use her as a tool, hehe.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting Rendel at all, so you could just imagine how my spirit flew up in the sky for the super mega kilig factor when I confirmed that was really him standing infront of me! Kung hawd lang ko magpa-collapse sa una nagpa-collapse na lang unta ko ba para effect. That was the first brave and close encounter we had during my 2nd year! The kilig factor from the countless far encounters was automatically overruled, I was thinking oh my, I had a sure story for Shelah again the following day and this one would really have all my girl classmates giggling!

My mom recalls she noticed that Rendel was hiding something in his back. Honey recalls how I was so impatient with my mom that night that i shooed her away so we could have our moment na! I recall how I was so out of myself that night, then Honey handed me the Valentines Card. O ha? Wala'y makapildi sa moment!

Forgive me Honey, but I am sharing the content of the card ;)

On the first page:

"No matter how the world rushes to experience, one change after another, I'd hold on to this feeling meant especially for you..." (HARDCORE!!!)

On the second page:

"Weariness won't reach my heart when it comes to wishing for all the wonderful things to happen in your life. You deserve happiness as someone who spreads joy to every soul. Amidst the restlessness and inconsistencies of time, I'd always care to see your every dream coming true."

Ug ang pinakakuyaw jud sa tanan nga nakasulat, the card was written in a special penmanship that goes, "Dearest Cathy, I'm looking forward to our "FRIENDSHIP". Huh? Friendship lang man diay! Ug ang pamatay jud nga Cathy ang gibutang. I don't want to discount the signature, "The one who cares, HEART, Bobong". Whoaaaaah! Winner!

Haha, funny. So that's it. I'm glad I kept this too. This was the original of the HoneyFIED collectibles I have. I want to make it clear though that Honey kept my letters too, letters dating back from our 2nd year high school! Someday I'll have him post it here so he can redeem himself...

Piece of Evidence from Shelah

During my 2nd year high school, I had a very pretty but shy seatmate named Shelah. After the United Nations event, Shelah was the first closest witness to the first capsules of HoneyFIED history. I fed her my kilig moments first thing in the morning, everytime I had something to share about Rendel, it made me so glad that she swallowed it all as a sign of moral support to her seatmate.

Haha... funny. Good thing i kept this 12-year old piece of paper - a hard core evidence in Shelah's point of view that Rendel hearts Me hehe.

Christmas 2009

Our HoneyFIED Christmas this year was held at Skype, as usual. Honey sent me a card dated December 4 but I really reserved to open it on Christmas Eve, para char.

My High School High

My Honey’s name by the way is Rendel. Rendel is not my real last name as it appears in my Facebook badge. Honey and I share that Facebook account that’s why the username is Kara Rendel. Naming it like that was a self initiated move just to give justice to my dearly beloved who claimed he co-owns my Facebook. ;)

As I recall during my high school, I’ve more or less announced to all my classmates my profound admiration for that guy in the main campus whom I saw during the United Nations ceremony. I remember I asked for his name that night, which was not at all my typical behavior had it been some other guy there on the stage. It was only by chance that a classmate of his was around and gave away Honey’s name, so I had the name to the face (or hair) already. I don’t have an explanation why the hell did I ever ask for the name though, but I admit as it turned out, Honey was the only guy that got me giggling wild (in the open) all throughout my high school. You could ask students and teachers alike how I was so gaga about Honey and I’m overly sure they will tell an exaggerated version of the story, haha!

Looking back, I recall how it was like a slow-mo movie every time I see him even from afar… shocks, ana ang effect te! Honey was the highlight of my high school. I was able to keep some evidences of my high school high, hopefully tomorrow I’ll be able to share some photos here. Until tomorrow…

When the world was young...

Well well, I successfully changed Honeyfied’s look again! I wonder when will I ever tire of reinventing Honeyfied’s look. Mmmm… I mean what have I got to do if I find a bunch of mouth watering templates in the web everyday of my life! And as much as I want to change the look of this page everyday, of course I have other more worthy things to do that I am more or less paid for, discounting for example this very post where I want to tell you all how me and my Honey started out.

First of all, I would like to note that this blog was solely my plan. At first I didn’t have any idea if Honey would eventually come to approve of me posting our stuff in here, but fortunately though I found out that the traffic driven to this blog mostly comes from California! That’s how I knew si Honey pa diay ang akong avid reader and that means he is cool with this! That being the case I regret to inform my other readers that I really have to be discreet here, and try to be decent.


I first had a glimpse of Honey 12 years ago some time in October 1997, in a United Nations Ceremony held in our high school. He was performing on stage with his lady classmate. I could never forget what took me that time, it was his hair and its sexy length that I fist noticed and how it went perfectly well with his aura that night while they were doing that slow dance. The hair was the culprit; it melted my heart that very instant. So superficial yeah, but from then on I remember there was never a day in my high school that I did not long to see Honey around the campus. For me, that was the beginning… ;)

...or cyclings, or whatever because leggings are way longer according to Honey. It's 12:15 am in my watch, I'm actually here in a ktv party but I still think of my Honey, sweet ko diba? Haha! We are chatting right now, he is at work for an early morning shift, while I'm missing him while I'm stuck in here... Gosh I'm sleepy...

The Fiance Visa Thing

While waiting, I can't help myself from browsing notes and files, download ebooks for the general guidelines of what to do next, what to expect. There. Though Honey told me to be patient, my freaking mind goes fast forward away from where I am sitting RIGHT NOW to where my Honey's at! I want to be with my Honey - nothing more that I want right now, supposedly for this year but well, I can make that my number 1 want early 2010 - good heavens please...

While gathering reading materials and some cases of Filipina fiances, I am also noting the checklist that will be required of me during the interview. Whats the last email from the USCIS? Within 60 days Honey right? :) Right, that's within 60 days, we are crossing our fingers it'd turn out favorable to us. Be patient Kara, be patient.

It would be nice if I can talk to somebody who's been into this or is going thru this very same situation, if you may, share something positive here please? :)

Welcome to Rendel's Cafe

A place like no other? Haha, not so, Honey and I share this cafe at facebook.We are originally Barn Buddy freaks, but because Honey is prone to tempatation, he gave in to the Cafe invite... Mmmm... That's it. Never thought I'd enjoy this application, so fun!

Should I Post This?

Of course! An agreement is an agreement. :)

During our conversation today I noticed Honey's trying to squeeze in his favorite topic, out of the blue even if our topic was about something else! Now this is where I realize all of a sudden the love-me-for-what-I-am part (in reference to Honey's mantra), and if you may guess what his favorite topic is? Hmmm... Again, to point out the essence of an agreement being an AGREEMENT, his favorite topic is SENSUALITY, simply put "kamanyakan" in layman's term! Haha!

Today, I Write...

I forgot to mention Honey sent me a christmas card too. Mom was overly excited to open it, but I am preserving the essence of the card til Christmas! There, for the drama of it lang. I could make a collage of the letters and the cards already, someday, when I'm going to share all of them here. ;)

So what's the point of this post if you may ask me??? Haha! Nah, nothing much again. As usual, me and Honey had a chat via YM, talked via magicjack after my lunch break. Today he reminded me again of his pa hard-to-get drama, the very reason why IF I MUST SAY that Honey's my Honey today! Haha! ;)

Another Day Far Away

I am beginning to count the days. I am beginning to think I am liking what I am doing here right now (Honey's suggestion), though of course I still want to be out of here, specifically HERE where I am sitting right now! I need to sink into a positive energy while waiting for the most awaited. Waiting has never been fun, but I'll wait and hopefully learn to be patient. Hay naku!

There, I just want to brag thats all haha! Hello December!

So long! Mmmm... threads of bubbly conversations and moments went by between me and my honey. Barely noticed its December already! I am still wondering what's the big deal between corned beef and corned tuna. Haha! Kaloka! I got news here, Honey bought something really exciting! I can't wait for that peach lipstick already!!! Honey's slowly becoming my Papasang, he also bought me my order which is really bongga! Hala... i hope I'm winning the lottery soon!
